AURA takes Ashmore in a new direction with more emphasis on Trance-Pop.   Released in 2003 it shows a greater maturity in the song writing skills of Hunter and Power venturing deeper into dance, trance, and techno yet still managing to keep the pop vocals and unforgettable tunes.  Songs such as "Good and Bad" were played in various UK clubs in the Summer of 2002.

This album has gained great interest from professional DJs, clubs, compilation CD companies, radio stations, advertisers, and magazines. Future Music magazine described Aura as "Well produced Rock/Dance crossover aka Crystal Method".  DJ Louca and DJ Lucci have been quoted in "Life" magazine as saying "Ashmore can be compared to the likes of Dirty Vegas".

This CD would not have been the same without the following excellent musicians: Greg McCreath (guitar solo on Aura); Nigel McGill (saxophone on Morning Sun); and of course Darren "Dazzy" Flinders for the stomping remixes of East, Oppenheimer and Good&Bad.
